A new trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s new film Django Unchained was released Thursday, along with the soundtrack listing for the movie released Wednesday.
Yahoo! posted the second trailer for the film, which can be watched below:
The film focuses on Jamie Foxx’s character, a freed slave named Django who becomes a bounty hunter. He is trying to save his wife Broomhilda played by Kerry Washington, from slave owner Calvin Candie, played by Leonardo DiCaprio. Christoph Waltz also stars as bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz.
The film’s official soundtrack track list was released Wednesday, according to the Huffington Post.
The soundtrack features songs from Rick Ross and John Legend. The full list can be found in the link above. Foxx produced Ross’s song "100 Black Coffins" for the album. Frank Ocean was reported to be writing a song for the movie, but he is not featured on the soundtrack.
"I want to thank all the artists who contributed original songs (a first for me) to the picture,” Tarantino said. “Most of these contributions came out of the artists' own inspiration and their illustration of the film's soul is invaluable.”
Tarantino also said he added old songs from his “personal vinyl collection” to the soundtrack, according to Indiewire.
Django Unchained will be released on Christmas Day, while the soundtrack is being released on December 18.
