Shawn Johnson and Olympic Fierce-5 wow on 'Dancing with the Stars'

Dancing with the Stars contestant Shawn Johnson and Derek’s freestyle routine on Monday evenings showing is receiving rave reviews from both viewers and Olympic Gold Medalists, The Firece-5, who joined the former Olympian for Monday evenings show.

The Huffington Post reports that Johnson was joined by the group of Olympians who acted as support for the recently retired gymnast.

People notes that Shawn and Derek received a told of 57 points from their two dances which included a revisit to their quickstep which “broke the rules” as the two endured a very daring stunt.

"You're not allowed to break hold, which you did, you're not allowed to do lifts, which you did," judge Len said. Carrie Ann notes, “Points do matter ... I'm a little disappointed but I hope your risk pays off."

The couple stole the evening when the finished the night off with a dance which included the Firece-5, E! News reports.

The judges deemed the final dance, “Sensational!” "Fierce, flawless, exciting, explosive” and “brilliance!" Len referred to the dance "gold-medal performance."

Shawn goes up against Melissa Rycroft and Kelly Monaco for the mirror ball trophy!
