Snooki to help the victims of Hurricane Sandy

By Sarah Burbank-Douglas,

It has been less than one week since Superstorm Sandy wreaked havoc on the East coast, leaving devastation in Connecticut, New Jersey, New York and West Virginia.

So far, many celebrities have pulled together to help those who are suffering from Sandy’s devastation. Together with the Red Cross and NBC, the groups created Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together and raised $23 million for the victims of the October 29 storm.

Jersey Shore reality diva Snooki is lending her hand to victims of the devastation as she has announced her efforts to raise support via Twitter.

“Sleep! Early morning tomm! I will be on GMA to help raise money for the hurricane sandy victims on their telethon!!!! Xoxo” she tweeted Sunday night.

Christina Aguilera, Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi and Aerosmith were just some of many who came together to raise support.

Snooki, a native from the New York/New Jersey area, filmed her reality series down at the Jersey Shore, a spot which has proved to endure some of the worst devastation when Sandy ripped through the beach and homes surrounding it.
