Some of Taylor Swift’s biggest hits come from her failed relationships, but the singer admits to Parade magazine that she has “so much to learn about life.”
“I know nothing compared to what I’m going to know someday,” the 22-year-old starlet tells Parade magazine.
Swift explains that despite being one the highest paid musicians of 2012, she’s afraid one day she will fall out of love with her career and her dreams will be over. “I’m scared of this whole thing backfiring,” she admits. “Or chewing me up and spitting me out, and all of a sudden, I don’t love it anymore.”
Speaking of love, despite the hits she puts out about being in love and it all falling apart before her very eyes, she tells the magazine that she really isn’t certain what love really means. "I tend to think things are love and then look back and reevaluate. How many times has she been in love? I know how many people I’ve said ‘I love you’ to. I could probably count it up, but I don’t feel like it. Part of me feels you can’t say you were truly in love if it didn’t last,” she explained.
The “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” singer delves in everything from her attraction to ‘bad boys’ to growing in the public eye.
The public's obsession with the singer's relationship status recently turned sour when Swift began receiving death threats via Twitter after reports surfaced that she is dating One Direction singer Harry Styles.
Swift admits that this is the life she “asked for.”
