Tim Burton directs The Killers new music video starring Winona Ryder

The indie-glam rock band The Killers stopped by Blackpool, England to shoot a music video off of their latest album Battle Born. Joining them is Edward Scissorhands director Tim Burton and cast member Winona Ryder.

The video marks a reunion for Ryder and Burton. It will be interesting to see how Burton style of directing matches up with The Killers’ music. Burton and The Killers have teamed up before for the music video “Bones” off of the album Sam’s Town. It was pretty much what can be expected a bunch of skeletons dancing on a beach to the tunes of The Killers.

The Blackpool Gazette reports that the band took photos with the staff and customers of the Tower Ballroom where they are shooting.

NME reports that the Las Vegas band is currently on tour, but has had to cancel two shows because lead singer Brandon Flowers lost his voice. Fortunately, for fans the two shows have been rescheduled next year February 17 and 18.
