Tom Bergeron offers his full support to Brooke Burke-Charvet's battle with thyroid cancer

Dancing with the Stars co-host Brooke Burke-Charvet revealed troubling news Thursday when she revealed that she is battling thyroid cancer. Her DWTS co-star, Tom Bergeron, took to The Talk to express that Brooke has his full support behind her.

People reports that the 57-year-old co-host offered his support during an interview with Julie Chang and Sharon Osbourne on The Talk where he told the ladies of the table, “She knows my love and support are with [her}. We're all right there with her."

According to Tom, he has known about Brooke’s thyroid cancer ”for a few months,” adding, “and I told her at the time she first told me that I've had experience with this in my family.…You never want to hear the word 'cancer,' but thyroid cancer is one of the most treatable cancers. It has an incredibly high success rate."

Brooke revealed the news that she is battling cancer via a YouTube video where the 41-year-old appeared confident in health. Brooke plans to keep fans up to date as her progress moves on.
