'Two and a Half Men' star Angus T. Jones calls show 'filth'

By Matthew Dougherty,

Controversies are not shy to the set of CBS’s long running sitcom Two and a Half Men, but now long after the departure of Charlie Sheen, Angus T. Jones, who plays Jake Harper on the show has some words to express.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the former child star, now 19, made the remarks in a two-part video he posted on YouTube as a religious testimony for a Christian organization known as The Forerunner Chronicles.

“If you watch Two and a Half Men, please stop watching Two and a Half Men. I’m on Two and a Half Men, and I don’t want to be on it. Please stop watching it. Please stop filling your head with filth,” Jones said in the video.

IGN says that when the actor joined the show at the age of ten, he became the highest paid adolescent on television.

Two years ago, series star Charlie Sheen came out with negative remarks about the show that led to him being fired. He was replaced by Ashton Kutcher at the start of the show’s eighth season.

As of now, CBS has not responded to Jones’ words. Check out the video below. Jones starts talking about Two and a Half Men around the 7:30 mark.
