Vice Prime Minster of Israel Silvan Shalom's Twitter and Facebook get hacked

By Sarah Burbank-Douglas,

Israeli Vice Prime Minister Silvan Shalom had both his Facebook and Twitter accounts hacked by a group which calls itself ZCompanyHackingCrew.

According to Gawker, the hackers first took over his Facebook, posting the question, “As you are all aware that we are being brutally f***ed by hamas so should we finally surrender???” The question was followed by, “Quick answer: A-Yes B-NO.”

Also, the Company Hacking Crew changed his photo to banner which reportedly reads, “Free Palestine.”

The Crew then took to Twitter to post a series of tweets in less than one hour, Gawker notes.

The tweets began roughly around 7:30 EST Tuesday evening, beginning with “FREE PALESTINE! END THE OCCUPATION! STOP THE MURDER OF PALESTINIANS NOW!!!! #GAZA,” “BOYCOTT ISRAELI PRODUCTS WORLDWIDE. END THIS MASS MURDER OF PALESTINIANS. END THE WAR. END THE OCCUPATION. ZIONISM WILL BE DESTROYED #GAZA,” as well as, “Benjamin Netanyahu is a Zionist murdering psychopath. FREE PALESTINE!!!! STOP THE MURDER. END THE OCCUPATION!! SUPPORT HAMAS. #GAZA.”

The Crew also changed the background to Shalom’s Twitter to one representing their hacking symbol.

As it remains, the account is still visible to the public and has not been changed back.
