After all four teams had performed; it was time to find out the results of which vocalist would be moving on in the competition. The top two members from each team will automatically advance biased on America’s votes. Then each coach will have the chance to save one team member.
To open the show, Team Adam and Team Blake performed Kelly Clarkson’s, “What Doesn’t Kill You (Makes You Stronger).”
After that powerful performance, the fate of Team Adam was announced. The first name to be announced that was voted through by America was Amanda Brown. The second vocalists to advance in the competition was Bryan Keith. The decision then comes down to Levine, after a long deliberation it was decided that Melanie Martinez would advance to the next round.
After an emotional moment for Team Adam, Maroon 5 and Levine took to the Voice stage to perform their latest single, “Daylight.” Following Maroon 5, season two winner Jermaine Paul took the stage to perform his new single, “I Believe In This Life.”
Next up the results from Team Blake were announced. The first vocalist who was voted through by America was Terry McDermott. The second performer advancing to the next round was Cassadee Pope. Now the decision came down to Shelton. Shelton chose to save Michaela Paige.
Team Christina and Team Cee Lo took the stage for an unforgettable team performance of, “Drive By,” by Train.
Team Christina took the stage next. The first vocalist advancing from Team Christina was Dez Duron. The second vocalists moving forward was Sylvia Yacoub. Aguilera made an inspiring speech to her three remaining team members but in the end chose to save Adriana Louise.
Team Cee Lo received their results last. The first vocalist to advance biased on America’s vote was Trevin Hunte. Following Hunte into the next round of competition was Nicholas David. It was then up to Green to chose save Cody Belew.
The live performances continue next Monday on NBC.
