'The Voice' Recap 11/27

By Lydia Underwood,

Last night on The Voice, our top eight contestants were cut down to only six. It’s getting to the point where it seems like all of them deserve to stay.

All eight artists charted on iTunes, including Terry hitting number 1 on the rock chart and Melanie hitting number 1 on the alternative chart.

First, Trevin and Amanda performed “Marry the Night” by Lady Gaga.

Adam said he thought any of the contestants would be capable of winning.

Christina said that even if Dez goes home, all the “good ones” get record deals and she’ll still support and love him after the show.

Blake said that instead of peaking too soon, he thinks his artists are getting better every week and it’s like a ramp to the finals.

The first artist saved: Cassadee Pope.

Cee-Lo flew all of his old and new contestants out to his Christmas show. He told them they would all perform with him… and the Muppets! After, he performed, “It’s Not Easy Being Green,” with Kermit the Frog.

The next saved: Amanda Brown.

Cody, Melanie, Nicholas, and Terry teamed up to sing, “Rhythm of Love.”

Next to be saved: Melanie Martinez.

Cassadee and Dez perform, “I Hate That I Love You.”

America saved Nicholas David.

The last two saved: Terry McDermott and Trevin Hunte!

Tune in next week for more incredible performances by the top 6 contestants!
