This week, Team Cee-Lo and Team Christina have to give it their all because America is voting! These rounds, the four teams will compete to be in the top 12.
Christina talked about how she invited her team over for a private listening of her new album. She wanted to spend quality time with her team before any of the eliminations.
Team Cee-Lo and Team Christina came out together to give a performance.
First up to sing is Adriana Louise. She decided to sing “Firework” by Katy Perry. All the judges talked about how Adriana had a strong performance and considered her worthy competition.
Next up, Cody Belew. Cee-Lo chose “One More Try” by George Michael. He gave the best performance I’ve ever heard him give. What did the judges think? They agreed, saying he’s one of all of their favorites on the show.
De’Borah took the stage third. She’s decided to sing “Who Knew” by Pink. She hit some amazing notes and thrilled the judges. They all gave her incredible praise.
Diego Val was next. His song is “Bailamos” by Enrique Iglesias. The judges didn’t really rave about his performance. Adam said he seemed disconnected or disinterested throughout parts.
Mackenzie Bourg took the stage after Diego. He’s singing “What Makes You Beautiful” by One Direction. Blake said he’s one of the most popular guys in the competition and that song choice will help him get further.
Devyn Deloera takes the stage. She’s singing the song “Bleeding Love” by Leona Lewis. Cee-Lo said it wasn’t her best performance but he has watched her grow as a singer.
The next singer was Nicholas David. “You’re The First, The Last, My Everything” by Barry White. Cee-Lo told him how proud he was of him and that he thought he should go all the way.
Sylvia Yacoub sang “The One That Got Away” by Katy Perry. Christina said she felt they connect on so many different levels, calling her a “tried and true artist.”
Dez Duron was the next singer to hit the stage. He sang Hunter Hayes’ “Wanted.” Girls in the audience kept screaming. Adam wanted to see Dez step out a little more with his song choices.
Last, but definitely not least, Trevin sang a beautiful rendition of “How Am I Supposed to Live Without You” by Michael Bolton. Blake was thoroughly impressed, saying that Trevin has what it would take to win.
Tune in next week to see the results!
