'The Voice' recap: Live results show

Last night the top eight vocalists were announced on The Voice's live results show. The results show featured performances from Rascal Flatts and the top ten vocalists.

To kick off the results show, Christina Aguilera performed “Let There Be Love,” featuring her two team members.

For the first time in the history of The Voice, fans at home could use Twitter to have an input, in which teams performed a group song. Fans had fifteen minutes to tweet their view.

The first vocalists to go through to the top eight, from Team Cee Lo, was Nicholas David. The second vocalist of the night to move on in the competition was Cassadee Pope from Team Blake.

Before more results were announced, country superstars Rascal Flatts took the stage to perform their hit single, “Changed.” Rascal Flatts performed with Cassadee Pope and Cody Belew.

Following that performance, the new two artists who are moving forward into the top eight were announced, from Team Christina, Dez Duron and from Team Cee Lo, Cody Belew.

Adam Levine took the stage with his team to perform, “Crazy Little Thing Called Love,” by Queen. Team Blake and Team Christina also took the stage to perform, “Hit Me With Your Best Shot.”

From Team Adam, Melanie Martinez and from Team Blake, Terry McDermott advanced. Following those results, Trevin Hunte from Team Cee Lo moved onto the top eight and from Team Adam, Amanda Brown.

Syliva Yacoub from Team Christina and Bryan Keith from Team Adam were eliminated.

Next week on Monday, the top eight will perform live on NBC.
