After intense and powerhouse performance from the top twelve vocalists left on The Voice, the top twelve found out how America voted. This weeks result show was packed with performances from the vocalists and their coaches. The show also featured Jason Aldean and Christina Aguilera debuting her new single with fellow Voice coach, Cee Lo Green.
To start off the show, Aguilera debuted her new single, “Make The World Move,” with Cee Lo Green. Aguilera was fresh of the release off her new studio album, Lotus; the performance electrified the audience, with its modern sound and futuristic performance.
The first two artists to be saved were Bryan Keith from Team Adam and Sylvia Yacoub from Team Christina.
Before more results were read, country superstar Jason Aldean took the stage to perform his new single, “The Only Way I Know.” Originally on Aldean’s album, this song is performed with Eric Church and Luke Bryan, for this performance Bryan Keith and Dez Duron took the stage with the country superstar.
Following Aldean’s performance, two more artists were announced safe. Nicholas David from Team Cee Lo and Dez Duron from Team Christina.
For the first time this season, Green joined his team for a one of a kind performance. The team took on the 70s classic, “Staying Alive.” The performance was complete with big hair and bell-bottoms.
Following the flash back to the 70s, two more artists moved onto next weeks live show. Trevin Hunte from Team Cee Lo and Cassadee Pope from Team Blake both moved on.
Team Blake took the stage next to perform, “Life is a Highway,” with their coach. The performance got the entire audience moving and clapping along. Following their performance, Terry McDermott was saved from Team Blake. Amanda Brown from Team Adam also moved onto the live show next week.
The final two vocalists who moved on in the competition were Cody Belew from Team Cee Lo and Melanie Martinez.
Adriana Louise from Team Christina and Michaela Paige from Team Blake exited the competition tonight.
Next week the live performances continue on NBC.
