'The Voice'- Top Eight Result Show

Tonight on The Voice the top eight became the top six. The results show was packed with performances and eliminations.

To open the show, Trevin Hunte from Team Cee Lo and Amanda Brown from Team Adam took to the stage to perform, Lady Gaga’s “Marry The Night.”

The first vocalist to be advancing to the top six was Cassadee Pope from Team Blake.

Following the first round of results, Cee Lo Green and the Muppets took the stage. Green brought back all of the members of his previous teams from Season 1, 2 and 3 to perform on his upcoming Christmas special with the Muppets, but tonight Green and Kermit the Frog performed, “It’s Not Easy Being Green.” Green and Kermit electrified the stage.

Cassadee Pope and Dez Duron also took the stage to perform the hit by Ne-Yo and Rihanna, “Hate That I Love You.”

The third vocalist to move forward in the competition was Melanie Martinez from Team Adam. Joining Martinez in the top six was Nicholas David from Team Cee Lo.

Terry McDermott from Team Blake and Trevin Hunte from Team Cee Lo also advanced to the top six.

Dez Duron from Team Christina and Cody Belew from Team Cee Lo left the competition. With the elimination of Duron, Aguilera has no more team members left in the competition.

Next Monday, the top six perform for America’s vote.
