Right after the passing of Halloween, department stores have quickly moved on to the holiday season. In efforts to increase the hype of Black Friday sales, Target has already released twenty of their sale items via Facebook.
On Saturday afternoon, Target released to their Facebook fan community page that their Black Friday sales would be ones shoppers won’t want to miss. Twelve days before the infamous shopping day, Target has created an interesting way to share their sales with shoppers.
Instead of listing items that will be on sale in circulars or Facebook posts, Target has created a “guess the sale” Facebook game where users can guess which of two items will be on sale on Black Friday. If the user guesses the correct item of the two, then the sale price of the item will be revealed to the user. If the item is guessed incorrectly, the user is urged to choose from two new items.
According to Examiner.com, some of the deals that the game reveals includes a Westinghouse 50” LCD TV, suede boots, assorted DVDs and Playstation 3.
The game is available through Target’s Black Friday Facebook application.
