New music from Rihanna, Il Volo, Kid Rock, Pitbull and more...

Rihanna released her highly anticipated new album Unapologetic.

The single "Diamonds" off the album, is her 12th number one single.
The album also includes a duet with Chris Brown called "Nobody's Business."

Though Rihanna's album is called Unapologetic, she was apologetic to reporters for not being available during her 777 tour.

11th Season American Idol winner Phillip Phillips released his debut album this week The World from This Side of the Moon.

It includes his popular single "Home."

Here is the video for the song with Phillips travelling, writing and performing.

Kid Rock is back with his new album Rebel Soul. It is a welcome return to classic Kid Rock as he produced the album himself.

The young and talented Italian trio Il Volo released their new album We Are Love. It is full of love songs and even includes a few Christmas songs.

Pitbull keeps churning out music for us to dance to. He released, his new album Global Warming.

Here is his performance from the American Music Awards last week of "Don't Stop the Party/Feel the Moment."

Justin Bieber may be a teen heartthrob but, he wants more. Bieber would like to be the next Michael Jackson. He already has a huge fan in Christina Aguilera.

After nearly 20 years, rapper Lil Wayne will be retiring from the music business to pursue other interests.

Though Lil Wayne is leaving the business for good, Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine is just taking a break to return to normal life for some inspiration. Welch may also be working on a love connection with actor Sean Penn.

Chris Brown is still suffering the consequences of his past violence toward Rihanna. Brown was forced to cancel his concert in South America due to protests.

Meanwhile, Fiona Apple decided to cancel her South American tour dates to be by the side of her dying dog.

Finally, as expected, One Direction was at the top of the billboard charts this week.
