Woman runs over husband for not voting

By Robert Kirchgassner ,

An Arizona woman expressed her dissatisfaction for her husband for not voting in the recent Presidential election by running over him with the family car.

NBC reported that Holly Soloman, 28, ran over her husband Daniel, 36, Saturday after a chase and was subsequently arrested.

Daniel was listed in critical condition but is expected to pull through according to police spokesman Sgt. Jesse Sanger.

Holly was reported dissatisfied with President Obama being elected to a second term on a week ago and believes her family will face hardships in the next four years. She reportedly became angry at her husband because he did not vote as she did.

Witnesses reported that an argument between the couple reportedly broke out and became heated on Saturday while they were at a parking lot in Gilbert.

Holly then yelled at him while chasing her husband with the car. Daniel attempted to hide behind a light pole but was hit after going toward a nearby street.

Fox reported that Holly, who is six months pregnant, claimed that she merely wanted to scare her husband and hit the gas pedal rather than the brakes.

Police stated that she did not appear to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
