Amanda Bynes has caught a break in her numerous hit-and-run incidents.
The L.A. City Attorney’s office detailed the court appearance, explaining to E! News that the former What I Like About You actress, whose incidents occurred in April and August, were both resolved Friday after her lawyer, Richard Hutton, appeared in court on her behalf.
According to the report, the victims noted they were fully “satisfied” and did not wish to pursue the issue further. However, E! notes that there was some tension in the court as the City Attorney’s Office objected to the signing off of Byne’s two vehicle incidents as she still has a looming DUI case, which she was arrested for back in April.
Overseeing the court was Judge Rubinson who reportedly overruled the objection and allowed the deal to go through.
Hutton tells E!, "Amanda is satisfied and grateful for this outcome of the case."
Bynes’s numerous vehicular incidents resulted in the young actress having her license revoked. She was spotted days later driving, and reports surfaced that she had marijuana in the car. Bynes was ticketed for driving without her license and will face that charge in court as well.
