Aubrey Plaza and John C. Reilly to star in “Life After Beth”

In a recent interview Parks and Recreation comedian confirmed that she would be starring in the zombie comedy Life After Beth. John C. Reilly is also confirmed to star in the film. Plaza’s live-in boyfriend Jeff Baena, who also wrote I Heart Huckabees will write and direct the film.

At the time not too much is known about the plot of the film, but Plaza tells British publication The Guardian that the film will be interesting.

Plaza described the film as "a really f***ed-up movie."

In the interview Plaza also explains that she needs to fight in order to get the roles she wants because people often associate her with her sarcastic monotone character on Parks and Rec. However, this won’t stop her from excelling in her craft.

"I want to be considered a well-rounded actor, not a weirdo,” she continues, “That said, "You can't control what people think. And I can't not have some parts of what I'm doing be me, because it's all I have to use. “

The Playlist reported that Step Brothers star John C. Reilly will start shooting with co-star Plaza next year in the spring.
