Brandi Glanville calls LeAnn Rimes 'unstable,' states she doesn't want her alone with her children

By Sarah Burbank-Douglas,

Eddie Cibrian’s ex-wife, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville is speaking out on why she doesn’t want her sons, Mason and Jake around Cibrian’s new wife, LeAnn Rimes, stating that one of her sons got extremely sick after eating one of her laxative pills.

Just days after igniting a Twitter war with Rimes over the singer/actress calling the boys “her’s,” Glanville is speaking out against Rimes to Us Weekly.

"I, unfortunately, don't find her to be stable and I don't want her around my kids when Eddie's not there -- or at least the nanny, his parents, someone," Glanville says of Rimes’ ability to parent the young boys. "Mason, my eldest, ate some of Le's candies and got extremely ill. And Le's candies are laxatives. It was a big f--king deal for me, and I lost my mind."

"She has one in every purse. Mason found on on the floor and thought it was a Skittle! They don't keep sugar in the house…He thought he finally found candy."

Rimes’ rep has responded to the claims calling it “inaccurate.”

“These are my children and I don't want this unstable person around them when she's alone,” she expresses.

Glanville and Rimes have long feuded over the boys and her and Cibrian’s marriage. Cibrian refutes the claims that Glanville makes, saying that she is only going out talking about it to put their “lives on display for her own notoriety.” He expresses that his ex-wife has never tried to contact him regarding the claims and although he doesn’t wish to “fuel her ever-igniting fire, there is a breaking point where enough is enough."

Adds Cibrian, “LeAnn, continues to be a loving and positive influence on the lives of my sons. They are without a doubt lucky to have her.”
