Carrie Underwood takes home two American Country Awards, holds record at 11 ACA's won

American Idol and multi-Grammy Award winner Carrie Underwood has taken the coveted “Female Artist of the Year” award at the American Country Awards.

Underwood set a record in Las Vegas, NV Monday when she won two American Country Awards, bringing her grand total to 11 ACA awards total, The Associated Press reports.

Underwood’s 11 awards marks the most any artist has ever won in the three-year ACA history.

"I know that I'm one of the most luckiest people, just blessed people," the “Before he Cheats” singer said when accepting her award for Female Artist of the Year. She also took home the award for “Single of the Year: Vocal Collaboration.”

Her excitement didn’t stop there. The 29-year-old starlet took to Twitter to continue her excitement and gratitude. “Ahhhh!!! I just won 2 #ACAs!"

She later added, “Thank you, fans! These are YOUR awards! You have always been so amazing to me! Thank you!!!!!"

“Congratulations to all the winners of the #ACAs! Such talent all in one building...I'm so happy to be a part of it! You all rock!” she tweeted to top off the evening.

In addition to her 11 ACA’s and 5 Grammys, Underwood has also won 16 Billboard Music Awards Examiner notes.
