Charlie Sheen is apologizing for the homophobic slur he spewed in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico over the weekend.
Warming up the crowd at the opening of his new lounge on Friday, the Anger Management star offended many when he yelled “How we doing... lying bunch of f****t a******s. How we doing?”
However, on Sunday, Sheen told TMZ he meant to say “maggot.”
He explained "I meant no ill will and intended to hurt no one and I apologize if I offended anyone,” adding, "I meant to say maggot but I have a lisp.”
Slash performed at the opening of his new rooftop bar in Mexico, and guests included L.A. mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and Dr. Robert Huizenga from The Biggest Loser.
“From Boyle Heights 2 Mayor of LA..! …. Antonio Villaraigosa knows how to party!” Sheen tweeted, ABC News reports. Although he posted a picture of himself with Villaraigosa, he later took it down.
Before the opening, Sheen touted the new lounge on Twitter.
