The divorce between Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore is fast underway as is speculation behind what money Moore could potentially reap from the split following Kutcher’s public infidelity.
As we previously reported, Moore wanted to file for divorce shortly after announcing their separation in November 2011, but opted not to because she wanted to figure out some financial issues before going forward.
According to the Huffington Post, Moore was awarded $90 million from her divorce from Die Hard actor Bruce Willis and she was hoping to quietly discuss a financial agreement between her and Kutcher before going forward with the divorce.
Sources tell Page Six, “Demi had hoped to negotiate a financial settlement quietly, then file paperwork afterwards to show the matter had been settled.”
The source continues, “Demi was asking for so much money, and [the negotiation] was dragging on so long, that Kutcher got fed up and filed papers, which means their divorce negotiations will become more public.”
Kutcher filed for divorce last week.
