Food Network star and notorious celebrity chef Alton Brown, who had lost 50 pounds a few years back, better not have Girl Scouts knocking on his door. The dedicated coach of Food Network Star reveals keeps his weight in check by refusing a box of Samoas!
According to the Examiner.com, his 50 pounds lighter figure is attributed to a low-carb diet, excluding his favorite treat, Girl Scout Cookies
"I can't have one. If you break the tube, you eat the tube," says Brown. Another one of his trigger-foods is milk because of its close relation to indulging one of it’s perfect partner, Thin Mints : "I cook with milk, I use milk in a lot of ways, but I don't drink milk because it made me eat Girl Scout cookies," reports Yahoo.com.
His 13-year-old daughter Zoey will possibly not be joining the Girl Scouts and Brown is trying to install healthy eating habits in his home. Brown is a no nonsense homebody declaring, “You don't negotiate with terrorists. This is dinner. I am putting it on a plate. It is on the table. That is what you eat. End of story."
