Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy and his husband, David Miller, are happy parents of their first child. They announced the birth of their son in an email to friends and family sent on Christmas eve.
“Logan Phineas Miller Murphy, Born December 24, 2012 9:47 a.m.,” the email read, reports E! News.
The email notes that Logan weighed in at 6.6 lbs and measured 21 inches. It also included an email of the baby laying in a Christmas stocking.
“I think I'll be incredibly fun and overwhelmed and all about manners,” he said about what kind of parent he thinks he’ll be. “People always say when you have a child it brings you back to when you were a kid, and I'm excited to do that.”
“I had a very rocky, difficult, emotional childhood with my parents,” he told THR. “And then I'm excited to have somebody or something come in and say: ‘Really? I don't care what you think. I'm going to do what I want.’”
In addition to Glee, Murphy is also the creator of NBC’s freshman comedy The New Normal and FX’s American Horror Story.
