Indiana Jones actor Harrison Ford used his Christmas Eve to feed the less fortunate.
In a video obtained by Entertainment Tonight, the 70-year-old actor, accompanied by his son Ben, volunteered at the Los Angeles Mission Christmas Eve on Skidrow.
According to the report, Ben is the head chef at his restaurant Ford’s Filling Station in Culver City, California. Ben shared photos of his actor father helping out on his Facebook page. He posted a message first writing, “Arriving at the LA Mission for one of my favorite days of the year. Getting ready to fire up the grill to cook over 4000 delicious chicken dinners on Xmas Eve come rain or shine. Looking forward to sharing this special day with my family. Almost time to wake up.”
He followed the post with a picture of he and his father writing, “Good men - like father, like son. In the rain nonetheless.”
ET reports that Mayor Anotonio Villaraigosa, Harry Hamlin, Lisa Rinna and Melissa Gilbert also joined in to help feed the hungry.
