Hilary Duff had a big year this year.
Along with returning to the studio to work on a long-awaited new album, the 25-year-old also became a first-time mom this year. She welcomed a baby boy, Luca Cruz Comrie, in May. Luca is her first child with husband, former hockey player, Mike Comrie.
While the year comes to a close, the singer and actress can’t help but feel “blessed” in her life. She's happy to have her husband and son. She reflected on the past year on Twitter.
“Having a child is so special! I know it's not NYE yet but I'm just thinking about my year and feeling so blessed for my precious boy❤ &Mike!” she tweeted on Saturday.

Heading into 2013, Hilary said she’s not ready to have another baby. Instead, she wants to give Luca all the love and attention she can right now, and maybe have more kids when he’s older.
"Mike and I are literally so obsessed with Luca. He's perfect! We should just be one and done, but I think once your kid starts getting older you miss that baby phase and you go in for round two,” she said during an interview with Access Hollywood Live. “Maybe when he’s two or three [ I’ll think about having more kids].”
