Rihanna had a mild scare over the weekend as a reported intruder was spotted on her property in Barbados.
The singing beauty was in her native country with her mother and grandfather where she donated a reported $1.75 million to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Bridgetown. The hospital will name the cancer ward the Clara Braithwaite Centre for Oncology and Nuclear Medicine in honor of the “Diamonds” singer's grandmother, Clara "Dolly"Braithwaite.
Following her generous donation, The Sun reports that a fan of Rihanna’s attempted to make way to her villa while the 24-year-old singer was lounging by the pool. He was stopped by security.
A witness states, “The guy got to within about 10 to 12ft of where Rihanna was sitting before he was apprehended by security. He looked fairly harmless but it was a little too close for comfort.”
According to the report, the man was there specifically to try and meet with the “S&M” singer. He was questioned by police and later released.
Rihanna is said to remain in Barbados throughout the Christmas holiday.
