James Marsden and Elizabeth Banks may have been guest stars on 30 Rock at different times, but the actors are going to work together on a film titled Walk of Shame.
Marsden joined the Lakeshore Entertainment and Sidney Kimmel Entertainment co-production’s cast on Thursday, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Walk of Shame was written by Steven Brill, who will also direct. It focuses on an ambitious news anchor who has a wild night out. When she returns home, she finds herself locked out and has to find some way to get to an important job interview, despite all the misadventures.
The Wrap reports that FilmDistrict is distributing the film in North America, with Lakeshore and Sierra/Affinity handling international distribution.
Marsden’s recent work includes 30 Rock, playing as Liz Lemon’s husband, 2 Guns with Denzel Washington and Lee Daniels’ The Butler, in which he will star as John F. Kennedy. He was also seen in the indie comedies Bachelorette and Robot & Frank.
Banks, who also appeared on 30 Rock, is currently working on The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. She also worked on Movie 43, which is slated for release next month.
