Jessica Simpson confirms second pregnancy

Jessica Simpson gave her daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson the perfect Christmas present, revealing today that she and fiance Eric Johnson are expecting their second child.

Simpson also confirmed the happy news on Twitter, writing, “Merry Christmas from my family to yours!” She also included an adorable photo of Maxwell, wearing a festive red and white outfit, sitting with the words “BIG SIS” written in the sand.

It has been rumored for months that Simpson and Johnson are expecting another child. As People notes, she had been spotted in loose-fitting clothing and the figure-hugging dress she wore to Donald Faison and CaCee Cobb wedding.

Late last month, a source close to Simpson told Us Weekly that the pregnancy was definitely not planned, but she is “overjoyed.”

Simpson currently has a deal with Weight Watchers, which sent a congratulatory tweet.

The Fashion Star host, 32, and Johnson, a former NFL player, welcomed Maxwell in May. Following Maxwell’s birth, Simpson worked hard at losing 60 lbs. and starring in ads for Weight Watchers.
