Jimmy Kimmel Live! is making the jump to 11:35 p.m. next month and ABC made sure that viewers will get to see a collection of A-list celebrities chat with Jimmy Kimmel.
According to Deadline, the first episode on Jan. 8 will feature actress Jennifer Aniston and No Doubt. The rest of the first week’s guests include actors Jamie Foxx, Mark Wahlberg, Ryan Gosling, Rob Lowe, Modern Family’s Sofia Vergara and Julie Bowen, Naomi Watts and Mindy Kaling. Reality TV stars Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, as well as talk show host Ellen DeGeneres will appear on the show.
Kimmel’s last episode at 12:35 a.m., a slot he has held for the past decade, will be on Jan. 7. ABC will air a special retrospective titled Jimmy Kimmel Live: Goodbye To Midnight that night.
ABC announced the move in August, deciding to put Kimmel up against CBS’ Late Show with David Letterman and NBC’s Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
JKL was the most-watched late night show during the November sweeps and has seen a 7 percent jump in total viewers since last year. It has also succeeded in drawing a younger demographic than Letterman or Leno.
