In the wake of the destruction caused by Hurricane Sandy, many organizations have collected aid to help the citizens most affected by the storm. On December 10, Mad Men star Jon Hamm will assume his role as “Master of Ceremonies” for the Hurricane Sandy benefit show, "We Hate Hurricanes," which is to take place at the Los Angeles Club Nokia.
The show will feature an all-star comedy lineup consisting of Will Ferrell, Aziz Ansari and Sarah Silverman. Singer-songwriter Beck announced on his official website that he will be sharing the stage with the three comedians on December 10.
Tickets go on sale to the general public at Ticketmaster, beginning Saturday, December 1, at 10 a.m. PST, at prices ranging from $38.50 to $58.50.
All of the proceeds are going to AmeriCares, a disaster relief and humanitarian aid organization. So if you will be in Los Angeles on Monday, December 10, looking to laugh, enjoy live music and support a good cause, be sure to check out "We Hate Hurricanes."
