Kate Bosworth appears in Topshop’s holiday ad campaign in a short film, where she sings “Winter Wonderland.”
Looking festive in a sparkly red dress with matching red lips, the actress stands on top of a piano and sings the classic Christmas tune.
Bosworth is directed by her fiancé, Michael Polish, in the 2 and a half minute ad for the popular U.K.retail chain, and it’s inspired by a scene from The Fabulous Baker Boys featuring Michelle Pfeiffer, E! Online reports.
Bosworth explained the vision for the ad to the LA Times, noting “We wanted to create something cinematic," adding, "To marry fashion and cinema.”
“This combination lead us to the movie The Fabulous Baker Boys. It wasn't that we wanted to recreate the movie, but play on our perception, particularly the scene where Michelle Pfeiffer sings ‘Makin' Whoopee.’"
The song will be available on iTunses.
Moreover, Topshop will open its first Los Angeles store this February, on Valentine’s Day.
