Kate Middleton made her first appearance since announcing that she and husband, Prince William, are expecting their first child together and since she left the hospital.
On Sunday, the Duchess of Cambridge attended the BBC’s Sports Personality of the Year Awards in London, E! News reports. The BBC released a statement in light of Middleton’s presence noting “a long-standing invitation from the BBC."
Middleton’s pregnancy was first revealed two weeks ago after she was admitted to King Edward VII’s Hospital for severe morning sickness.
Thankfully the Duchess appeared to be feeling much better as she looked radiant in a floor length green Alexander McQueen dress as acted as presenter alongside soccer champ David Beckham. The two presented the “Sports Personality of the Year Award” to Bradley Wiggins, professional road-and-track-racing cyclist as well as the “Lifetime Achievement Award” to former athlete and current politician Seb Cob.
According to the report, the mom-to-be did not do much talking as she left that up to the British soccer star.
