It appears that Kramer may be heading back to television for a pilot by Kirstie Alley called Giant Baby set to air on TV Land.
According to Entertainment Weekly, TV Land has confirmed this casting news and production on the pilot begins next week.
Michael Richards famously played Kramer on NBC’s smash hit Seinfeld.
Since the show’s end in 1998, Richards starred in his very own sitcom in 2000 on NBC called The Michael Richards Show, which was cancelled after just a few episodes.
After that he had an infamous incident at a comedy club where he repeatedly said the N-word during a stand-up routine.
His most recent work includes voice work done for the animated film Bee Movie in 2007, and the faux Seinfeld reunion episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm in 2009.
The New York Daily News says that Alley is not the only Cheers alum in the pilot and that she will be joined by Rhea Perlman.
No word yet on when the show might air.
