Kristen Stewart was a staple in tabloid magazines this year mainly because she was caught cheating on her boyfriend, Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson, with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders. Despite it all, the 22-year-old still doesn’t care what people think of her or what’s being written about her in magazines.
In a new interview with USA Today, the On The Road actress says when it comes to gossip, she just ignores it.
"People think they knew a lot about me before. They know even less now," she said. "People will project whatever. It's a huge form of entertainment. As soon as you step outside your own life and look at it like that and think that you can shape something — you need to live your life. I'm just going to live my life, actually."
She explains that all the stories about her in gossip magazines turn out to be a far cry from what’s really going on in her life. That’s why, when it comes to her personal life and questions about her relationship with Pattinson, 26, she chooses to stay mum. She says underneath all the glitz and glamor her life is actually more normal than the tabloids make it seem. She lives a low-profile life and has the same friends she had before she made a name for herself.
"They don't write about my personal life. You know what I mean? The same exact thing about being able to choose your path and your career — you don't step outside your life and look at it like you're someone else,” She explained, according to The Huffington Post. “It's the most disjointed, uninformed, and completely unsatisfying and completely depressing [stuff].”
