Kristen Stewart revealed in a recent interview that she does plan on starring in a sequel to Universal’s Snow White and the Huntsman and talked about the sex scenes in her latest film, On The Road.
In her chat with Indiewire last week, she was asked where her Snow White character from this year’s hit film was going in a sequel. “Oh, it’s gonna be f**kin’ amazing,” the Twilight star said. “No, I’m so excited about it, it’s crazy.”
Although she does sound excited about the franchise’s future, she wouldn’t give any details about the plot. “I’m not allowed,” she said. “The other day I said that there was a strong possibility that we’re going to make a sequel, and that’s very true, but everyone was like, ‘Whoa, stop talking about it.’ So no, I’m totally not allowed to talk about it.”
She agreed that there have been ideas tossed around that make her excited about making another Snow White film. “Oh my God. F**k, yeah. Absolutely. And we’ve got a really amazing,” she said, smiling. “So, yeah. It’s all good.”
As Zap2It notes, Indiewire also asked Stewart about the sex scenes in On The Road, director Walter Salles’ adaptation of Jack Kerouac's iconic novel. Although the film premiered at the Cannes and Toronto film festivals, it didn’t hit theaters in the US until this week.
She was asked what it was like to watch herself have sex and explained that it’s a key reason why she’s seen the film three times already.
“Right,” she laughed. “Well, I wasn’t really having sex. To be honest, I think if you were to isolate the scenes, it’s fairly ridiculous watching yourself fake have sex. But within the movie, watching the movie, I do get so caught up in this one. I’ve seen it three times, and that’s not typical for me. I have to complete the process, I need to watch the movie at the end of it. But three times?”
She also talked about the dance scene, considering it “100 times” more important than sex scenes. “The dancing scene was so much more terrifying than any of the sex scenes were for me. I was so scared of it,” she added.
