Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott announces pregnancy on Twitter

Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott is pregnant with her first child.

Oooh, the excitement! Will it be a sweet little “American Honey”? Or a beautiful baby boy?

Scott married drummer Chris Tyrell on January 7 of this year, and the two could not be more ecstatic about beginning their new family.

Scott took to Twitter on Friday, writing, “Chris & I are excited to announce that our Christmas gift has arrived a little early this year! We are having a BABY! We feel so blessed!!!”

In a recent interview with Country Weekly, Scott opened up about married life on tour, claiming that she tries to keep band time and her and Chris’ time somewhat separate. She mentioned that they would adapt their travel arrangements when the Lady Antebellum members have children.

“That'll be something where we cross that bridge when we get there,” she said.

Well, that time has come!

The couple's love of children will also soon be shared with the world.

According to People, Lady A recently announced that they are founding a new charity. It will be called LadyAID and will provide assistance to children’s hospitals and causes.
