Lady Gaga has outbid many Michael Jackson memorabilia collectors to buy 55 items that once belonged to the late King of Pop.
At Julien's Auctions on Sunday, the “Born This Way” singer purchased many pieces of history and she took to her Twitter account to explain what she will do with them.
"The 55 pieces I collected today will be archived & expertly cared for in the spirit & love of Michael Jackson, his bravery, & fans worldwide," she wrote.
According to E! Online, some of Jackson’s most coveted items sold for big money. His “Bad” jacket sold for $240,000 while his famous glove sold for $192,000. Another glove with crystals on it sold for $115,200.
Some of the proceeds from the auction went to charities Guide Dogs of America and Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas.
The NY Daily News reports that in total, the auction garnered $5 million. During the event, each member of Julien's Auctions team wore one crystal glove in honor of Jackson.
