Lindsay Lohan’s probation has been revoked as of today, when she had a hearing for lying to cops in relation to her car accident over the summer.
Lohan’s lawyer, Shawn Holley, was in court on her behalf Wednesday morning.
According to TMZ, Lohan was on probation in the first place because of the jewelry theft case stemming from last year. These new charges of lying to cops by telling them that her assistant was the one driving when she crashed her Porsche on Pacific Coast Highway last June has now caused her probation to be revoked.
Commissioner Jane Godfrey has scheduled a hearing for Jan. 15, where it will be determined if the Liz and Dick star will spend the 245 days in jail she’s facing.
Lohan was charged with three misdemeanors for lying to the Santa Monica police in relation to the accident. She was then arrested in New York in suspicion of third-degree assault for punching a woman at club Avenue, the LA Times reports.
There is a possibility, however, that Lohan could once again avoid jail time as the Commissioner in her case isn’t known for giving jail time. Rather, favoring rehab or some other type of counseling.
