The sandy beaches of Mexico were showered with blossoms and a white décor from the romantic nuptials of the newly married Mr. and Mrs. Mario Lopez. The meet-cute couple who met as costars in Broadway's A Chorus Line revival wed this Saturday.
Lopez was all about pleasing long-time girlfriend Courtney Mazza, saying, "She's the quarterback of the team. It's her day, so I'm cool with what she wants. But I'm involved with the reception because I want it to be a big party," reports Us Weekly.
Guest Eva Longoria tweeted, “Just landed in Mexico for @MarioLopezExtra wedding! So excited to be here! #VivaMexico http://say.ly/LMF4GhZ.”
The TLC wedding special Mario and Courtney’s Wedding Fiesta, expected to air Dec. 8, will be highlighted by the couple’s 2-year-old daughter, Gia, dressed in a dress matching her mommy, tossing flowers on the journey down the aisle to join her parents.
Mazza is certain their marriage will not change any aspect of their noteworthy relationship and only make their union official. "The only thing that's going to change is my last name. Same love, same everything![,]" says Mazza.
