Meek Mill endorses Trinidad James and tour gets canceled by judge

By Drew Barile,

Meek Mill has been in some headlines lately. Meek Mill, a rapper of the Maybach Music Group, recently spoke on the new Def Jam rapper Trinidad James. In addition, his touring has been halted for a month. A judge decreed that he violated probation restrictions associated with a 2008 drug and gun conviction.

According to E! Online, Judge Genece Brinkley told Mill, "You need to get yourself together"

Adding that, "You are going to be home for Christmas and New Year's."

Yahoo News reported that the rapper, whose real name is Robert Williams, violated the restrictions on his performance scheduling. In addition, he failed to keep in touch with his probation officer. His lawyers tried to argue that he needs to work to support his family.

However, the judge didn't seem convinced, and had a point to make. According to the Philadelphia Inquirer she stated, "You just can't thumb your nose at me, and they can't thumb their nose at me and think it's OK." Them referring to officials from his record label and management firm.

But on a lighter note, Meek Mills did an interview with RAP-Up. He talks about his favorite albums of 2012 and comments on Trinidad James. Meek Mill says, "Trinidad James is spitting that fire right now, he's shining, he's living, he's buzzing fast. He's doing his thing. All love. You know what I'm saying? He's a cool homie. I met him a couple of times, he's a cool boy. He's doing his thing."
