Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton top list of most desirable celebrity neighbors, Honey Boo Boo cast is least desirable

By Daniel S Levine,

We might like to watch the exploits of Alana Thompson and the other members of the Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, but no one wants to actually live near them. The family topped a survey of the least desirable celebrity neighbors. Country superstar couple Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton were named the most desirable neighbors for 2013.

Real estate site Zillow conducted its sixth annual celebrity neighbors survey this month. Shelton and Lambert topped the most desirable side of the poll, earning 10 percent of the vote. The couple was also popular with females, with 13 percent selecting the two.

Actress Reese Witherspoon and singer Taylor Swift held the No. 2 spot, with both earning 9 percent each. Daily Show host Jon Stewart (8 percent), Jay-Z & Beyonce (4 percent), Jessica Biel & Justin Timberlake (4 percent); Kristen Stewart (2 percent) and Justin Bieber (2 percent) made the list. The “other” selection earned 8 percent of the vote.

Still, 45 percent of those surveyed didn’t want to live near any celebrity. That’s up from 42 percent last year. Zillow Chief Marketing Officer Amy Bohutinsky explained, “Most people don’t want to live next to any celebrity, regardless of why they are famous...In fact, more people voiced their desire not to have a celebrity neighbor in 2013 than in any of the past years we’ve run this poll.”

Reality stars dominated the least-desirable neighbors list. The Honey Boo Boo cast had 21 percent of the vote, with the Kardashian family getting 18 percent. Donald Trump had 12 percent of the vote. Lance Armstrong and Clint Eastwood each got 2 percent, with Taylor Swift and Kristen Stewart getting 1 percent each. The other selection had 2 percent and 20 percent said none of the above.

According to The Huffington Post, quarterback Tim Tebow was named the most desirable neighbor last year, but he didn’t make the cut this year.
