One Direction's Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan pulled over in NYC

By Krista Alice Hornyak,

One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan were pulled over Wednesday in NYC after Tomlinson put his head up through a sunroof while the vehicle was moving.

Tomlinson had taken out a camera and was facing it toward him, filming himself while his driver was in Manhattan traffic.

It is uncertain exactly the reason, and it's hard to hear what music is playing, but it seems like Tomlinson was recording himself lip syncing.

E! Online surmises that the footage may have been for the band’s highly anticipated 3-D movie, set to come out next year.

IMDb reports that the film is being directed by Morgan Spurlock, who did Super Size Me, and will be in theaters on August 30, 2013.

This escapade could be for a future music video of a song off their new album Take Me Home. Or maybe Tomlinson just got into the spirit of the season and the city and was having a little fun.

Whatever the case, New York police officers stopped the driver for the unsafe actions of his passengers and had a little chat with the boys.

The funniest part of the clip is when the officer on the left side of the car smiles and takes a picture of himself with the bandmates. It seems that even New York’s Finest are Directioners!
