Coachella's 2013 music festival may be many months away, but the rumor mill is already buzzing about what the lineup is going to be.
Each year, music fanatics know they can go to Coachella and see a good handful of the artists they love and adore, so the lineup is pretty much the selling point for the entire weekend.
Over the past few years, the popularity of the Coachella festival has really gone through the roof. This year (2012) marked the first year in which Coachella extended beyond one magical weekend. Goldenvoice, the company behind Coachella, created the exact same event two weekends in a row to sell more tickets and open the experience to an even wider audience. And new this year, a Coachella festival will even occur at sea, on a special cruise line.
The current buzz is about the festival itself, and not the cruise. According to an article on Pretty Much Amazing, an email from Songkick listed Phoenix, Daft Punk, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and even The Rolling Stones as participants.
Speculation has already determined that the email might be fake, or simply may have been sent in error, but it's also possible that Songkick accidentally leaked confidential information! Moreover, both Phoenix and Yeah Yeah Yeahs have confirmed albums for the year of 2013, so an appearance at Coachella seems like a possibility.
