Buckingham Palace confirmed the bombshell news on Monday that Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, was expecting her first child with Prince William.
Although many were ecstatic about the impending arrival of a royal baby, they were sort of forced into telling the public about the pregnancy because she was admitted to the hospital for acute morning sickness.
The palace had said in a statement “The Duchess was admitted this afternoon to King Edward VII Hospital in Central London with Hyperemesis Gravidarum. As the pregnancy is in its very early stages, Her Royal Highness is expected to stay in hospital for several days and will require a period of rest thereafter.”
According to CNN, it’s Middleton’s second day in the hospital, and her husband was seen arriving there Tuesday morning to support her. He also spent most of the day on Monday by her side.
Clarence House reveals that Middleton isn’t even 12 weeks pregnant yet, so a due date will not be announced.
William and Kate got married on April 29, 2011.
