Rihanna drops some serious 'Diamonds' on new home

Look likes Rihanna has been busy! Her 2011 album Talk That Talk churned out huge singles, including "We Found Love," "Where Have You Been," and "You Da One," and she already has a new album out this year.

This Barbadian starlet certainly deserves a reward. And, well, dropping $12 million on a 33,541 square-foot mansion in the Palisades is a good place to start.

The house features seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a zero-edge swimming pool, and (of course) plenty of rooms for entertainment. This also isn't the first huge property purchase for Rihanna, who, according to Celebuzz, also recently purchased a house for her mother. What a nice present.

These aren't necessarily hasty purchases, either. Rihanna has had quite the year! As Refinery29 pointed out, she released two separate new lines of clothing this year, too. The first is a line of jeans with Armani, and the second is a collaboration with River Island. And that's on top of her new album and her scandalous second Vogue cover. Yeah... we're gonna go ahead and say that there's more than enough money to go around. Maybe she should get a summer home in Tuscany while she's at it.
