Mayan calendars are predicting the end of the world Friday, which is a shame because no one will be able to see Seth Rogen’s new film This is the End.
Rogen released a NSFW clip featuring himself, James Franco, Danny McBride, Jay Baruchel, Craig Robinson and Jonah Hill as the group slowly realizes that it might be the end of the world. As the guys discover fatalities (sorry Michael Cera and Jason Segel fans), the actors quickly begin to panic.
“It's really funny, it's about the end of the world,” Franco said according to MTV.
“We've prepared a scene from it so our work didn't go to waste,” Rogen said.
According to The Huffington Post, Baruchel said to i09, “I want a recurring joke, because it takes place in Los Angeles, and there's a lot of famous people in Los Angeles, I want a bunch of cameos, but I just want them to be corpses. I want them to be like, ‘Oh god there's Will Smith's dead body in the corner!’ And it would actually be him. So that's my recurring joke for the movie: I want there to be a lot of dead famous people in it.”
This is the End is Rogen’s directorial debut, so hopefully the world survives to see the film when it’s released this summer.
