By Sarah Burbank-Douglas,

Shania Twain took the stage for the first time in eight years Saturday and her performance was received with praise.

According to The Huffington Post, Twain took to the stage on a motorcycle donning a sparkling cat suit, looking absolutely stunning. Her arrival was received with a standing ovation.

“Thank you. Thank you so much -- you guys are going to get me all emotional, and then my eyelashes are going to fall off,” she said to the eager Las Vegas crowd who packed into Caesar’s Palace.

“This is a very overwhelming night.... It's been a lot of years for me since I've been here,” she adds, according to The Canadian Press.

"I realize what I've been missing, thanks to you."

The show, titled Shania: Still the One, lasted a reported 100 minutes. Twain performed such hits as, “Ain’t No Quitter” and “From This Moment On.” She spoke proudly to the crowd, making them aware that she is excited to be performing. “I know I’m talking a lot, but this is the first opening night-I can’t help myself.”
