Simon Cowell dating 'True Blood' actress Janina Gavankar?

Although Simon Cowell was rumored to be dating Carmen Electra, it seems as if he’s moved on to someone new.

The X Factor creator and judge was spotted out with True Blood star Janina Gavankar on Saturday night, where they enjoyed a dinner date at West Hollywood’s Cecconi’s restaurant.

The New York Daily News reports that the two were photographed leaving the restaurant together, the same one Cowell was photographed leaving with Electra in September.

However, Electra, a guest judge on X Factor UK, told Rumor Fix she and Cowell are “just friends.”

“He’s very intelligent. I respect that. He’s a good businessman and has been a really good person,” she also said.

Last month, Cowell flirted with Gavankar on Twitter, writing “@Janina hello trouble. Simon. X.”

She then tweeted back “@SimonCowell ...who me?? #DefinitelyMe,” and he replied, “@Janina yes you. X.”

Earlier this year Cowell, 53, called off his engagement to makeup artist Mezhgan Hussainy.
